What is visa on arrival

Which countries have visa on arrival? How many types of visa on arrival? What does visa upon arrival mean? If you’re the type of traveler thatto have everything set, confirme and neatly in place before you head off to foreign lands, then a Vietnamese visa on arrival is not for you.


Also known as visas on arrival (VOA), they are granted at a port of entry.

The issued visas are biometric (photo taken at the airport). Tourist visa is granted for all nationalities on arrival to Maldives. As such, a foreigner travelling to Maldives as a tourist does not require pre-approval for the visa.


However, the person must satisfy the basic entry requirements to get immigration clearance upon arrival. Visa can be obtained upon arrival , it will cost a total of JOD.
