There is senior registrar at RNSH. The senior registrar works closely with the registrars and their liaison with the Clinical Director and Consultants at RNSH. Thursdays: (monthly) 12. The role of the SCoT is to help coordinate training for the trainees. The SCoT is also the liaison person for Supervisors, should there be any concerns regarding trainees.
SCoTs regularly meet with trainees individually to identify learning goals and any early problems with placements. SCoTs are generally happy to meet with registrars at any time to discuss anything pertaining to training. Together with other consultants, the SCoT is involved with helping trainees prepare for examinations and case submissions and available to trainees to assist with the exam process. These can be video linked to Ryde CMH. The role is to assist with coordinating training for those based in the Ryde area.

Self-referrals are accepte as are referrals from health professionals. This line is staffed hours a day, days a week. You will be able to speak with a clinician who can provide recommendations about how to manage the situation or put you in contact with the appropriate mental health team.
