Pacsafe backpack review

Well okay, life is a bit dramatic, but it makes adventures that much easier. Going through airport security and lines to amusement parks or even checking in at hotels can be hectic. The PacSafe Protector might prevent someone walking away with your carry-on or backpack in a public place. As other reviewers have note the holes in the mesh are quite large. Large enough to place your hand through.

However, it has serious flaws.

I’ve been a Pacsafe fan for years…even before we moved to Amsterdam! My main problem, way back when, was that their bags were all about function and not style. This backpack worked SO GREAT for my trip to Italy last week! Three months later, I can’t imagine travelling without it. I am keeping the PacSafe and returning the Travelon due to the differences in size, quality of materials, and features.

The Camsafe XAnti-Theft Camera Backpack is lightweight, secure, and great for your daily commute or travel adventures. I was first introduced to Pacsafe a few years ago when I travelled to Europe with some friends of mine. When in backpack mode, threading your arm through the strap causes the entire unit to sit on your back lopsided because the strap slides through the buckle. Bag Basics Made by PacSafe , a company known for making secure travel gear, the LS4is on the bigger side of liters. My favorite feature in the Pacsafe Intasafe 20L Backpack is the Roobar Locking System. This proprietary Pacsafe feature is a real game changer, especially if you wear your pack in crowded areas. The Roobar consists of a strong steel hook that fits around the pack’s main zipper compartment. Even when wearing the backpack, it secures itself to your body.

The padded straps have a turn-and-lock hook with a smart lock mechanism. This makes the bag lock itself to you so snatch-and-run won’t happen. I had therefore considered buying the Carrysafe 2to switch out the strap.

Pacsafe offers this bag in black, navy, and hot pink which might add a little more style if that’s what you’re after, but I still think the plain black looks the best and suits the purpose of this bag the best.
