It may have only briefly held the title of Tallest Building in New York , but the Chrysler Building is (to this humble local) the best part of the New York City skyline. Songs have been written about it, legends are made from it, actors aspire to it. This green oasis surrounded by city is a favorite spot among New Yorkers, for both its history and its magic.
Where else can you explore a castle, sail model boats, hang with Alice in Wonderlan and cross picturesque bridges. This imposing and impressive structure is not only a signature landmark of New York. A long-ago gift from the French, Lady Liberty has come to symbolize New York City, and even America.

You can choose to grab lunch in the American Museum of Natural History, from one of the many street vendors scattered around the place, or wait until you wander over to The Met on the eastern side of Central Park, which is your next stop. Jump back on the Subway and check out the West Village neighbourhood at the 9th Street Station, and its legendary Greenwich Village. You’ll find no shortage of places to eat around Times Square, so grab your favourite dish before continuing with the exploring.
