I have always been a fan of lonely planet travel guides. The articles in this magazine range from short blurbs to more in-depth articles. It is written for a UK audience so their suggestions for weekend trips make me laugh - four nights in France, three nights in Berlin. However, it offers a different perspective than US travel magazines. However due to the inescapable fact that people are addicted to having their egos stroked these review sites have won out.

I love this magazine , the facts are always up to date and the whole magazine is great when going away to places for a little read up before. Recently used a section about Berlin when there on a city break and it gave me plenty on insight and I went to some places more off the beaten track. Be taken on a journey across the globe with breathtaking photography and amazing features of culture, history, foo drink and natural wonders from different and fascinating destinations all over the world.
