The shallow lagoon fringing the eastern side of the island and the house reef located at its western side provide two very different snorkeling experiences. As the most remote regularly accessed island in the reef, it’s only accessible by charter plane (from Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast). Situated within a highly protected ’Green Zone’ the island is a sanctuary for over 2species of marine life and is known for its abundance of manta rays, turtles, amazing array of spectacular marine life and unspoilt coral reef.
