Beekeeping videos beginners

This is a video covering all the things we wish we knew our first year. As promised here are the links to the items we talked about! Ever thought about keeping bees? Beekeeping for beginners as well as all beekeepers. I try to do learning videos for the beginner to the expert.

It can be hard to figure out how to start keeping bees.

I want to be your mentor. I am an EAS Certified Master Beekeeper and would love for you to take one of my ONLINE. I started out like most beginner beekeepers - I bought a book or two, hive furniture, and some package bees. I read more books a lot more books, watched every beekeeping how to video and DVD I could find and took beekeeping classes and worked with other beekeepers. After a few more packages of bees, things started to get real fun.


For a beginning beekeeper, between two and five hives is ideal. This size apiary is small enough for a beginner to manage but still provides enough bees to allow for winter losses. Expand in a couple of years, after you have gained experience and confidence. Once a hive has become establishe it can produce to 1pounds of surplus honey each year.
