Salvation army rent assistance

The goal is to provide short term support while helping individuals work towards long term self-sufficiency. The program provides renters at risk of eviction, and who have experienced a reduction in income due to the COVID-pandemic, with assistance in making monthly rent. These funds are provided by The City of Corpus Christi through the Cares Act and is intended to help those impacted financially by COVID-19. Use our application process to determine your eligibility for this COVID-financial assistance. Clients are eligible to apply for assistance one time each 24-month period. Each client is required to supply TSA a letter stating the eviction process will not occur within days of payment. The Nicor Sharing Program assists eligible families, disable households, veterans and provides crisis assistance to Nicor residential heating customers.
