Australia day

The Story begins 60years ago. New chapters are written every day. We respect the stories of others. And we celebrate our nation, its achievements and most of all, its people.


Australia Day is the official national day of Australia.

It is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed. See full list on timeanddate. Many people have a day off work and use the day among other things to barbecue , go to outdoor concerts , and to play or watch sports events.
