Referral is required to access secondary services. Within business hours, families can contact their Child and Family Health Centre to discuss concerns such as breastfeeding. In urgent cases you can attend the Emergency Department at your nearest Hospital where there is hour access to specialist health care and support. Child and family health nurses (CFHNs) are registered nurses holding recognised qualifications in child and family health. This Child Health and Wellbeing Plan addresses four collaboratively defined strategic themes: 1. With the exception of Child and Family Health Nursing all specialisations are offered completely online. In most specialisations, students must have access to clinical practice in the specialty area.
